YTO2P-8 is a 8mm 2-pin connector for compatible single-colour COB and SMD LED strip. Its main function is flexible routing between compatible 2-pin single-colour COB and SMD strip sections.

Not necessarily. Width, conductor count, pad position, coating, current rating and contact geometry must all match the exact strip.
Only when the connector and termination method are documented for the required protection level. A standard indoor connector does not create a sealed system.
