Compare the model data behind your selection

Use the finder as a shortlist, not an approved lighting system. Review the listed model details and the connection, environment and power requirements before confirming a configuration.

• Fitted cabinet or shelf lengths. Review the VELO FREE CUTTING 240 model data for its documented cut positions and PCB dimensions, then use the connector compatibility checklist to review the proposed connection. A short cutting increment does not mean the strip can be cut at any position.
• Materials and color evaluation. Compare the listed LINEA TRUE98 configuration with the project brief. The CRI, R9 and SDCM guide explains why color rendition and consistency need separate model-level evidence. Assess a sample with the intended materials, CCT, profile and diffuser.
• A white-light layout to compare. Review the VELO 320 model page alongside the required output, dimensions and feed layout. Use the IP and termination guide to check the whole assembly; a strip’s rating does not establish the protection of a new cut or connection.

Turn the selection into a power and quotation brief

Use the selected strip’s listed W/ft and connected length to estimate load. The calculator uses the site’s 90% maximum loading basis; the driver-sizing guide explains that planning method. Final selection also needs the system voltage, branch and feed arrangement, control method, manufacturer derating and local electrical requirements.

For a quotation, record the model, CCT, length of each section, installation environment, profile and diffuser, termination clearances, control requirements, quantity and destination.
